gpasm is an effort to provide a fully functional open source replacement
for Microchip's MPASM assembler.
James Bowman is the original author, although Craig Franklin has over taken development
and create an outstanding tool.
NEWS
gpasm is now part of the gputils package and is available in the
gputils Sourceforge CVS repository. It also has a
new web page that is hosted by
Sourceforge.
